Beautiful, collectible hand blown Japanese art glass vase. The Iwata Glass House was founded by Iwata Toshichi (1893-1980) and the tradition of glass making there has been carried on by his son Iwata Hisatoshi and granddaughter Iwata Ruri. Iwata Toshichi is considered to be the founding father of Modern glass making in Japan. Hisatoshi and Itoko’s works are in international museums in America and Europe, as well as Japan’s major museums. In excellent, mint condition.
